MENLO PARK – Virginia Chang Kiraly, Republican nominee for California’s 21st Assembly district, today unveiled a striking campaign billboard in the heart of Silicon Valley.

The billboard was designed for the Chang Kiraly campaign by community leader and longtime Palo Alto resident Carroll Harrington of Harrington Design. The billboard photograph was taken by newly elected San Jose City Councilmember Pete Constant, who recently endorsed Chang Kiraly for assembly.

“The 21st District encompasses most of Silicon Valley, so we decided to strategically locate our billboard on southbound Highway 101 near the Marsh Road exit,” said Dick Gourley, Chang Kiraly’s campaign manager. “It serves as a beacon welcoming constituents and visitors to one of the most important assembly districts in California. And it signals the needed changes Virginia will bring to Sacramento for all of us.”

Virginia Chang Kiraly, a successful businesswoman and community leader, has created a buzz in Silicon Valley politics by bringing new openness and energy to the Assembly race and by reaching out to every voter in the district, whether Republican, Democrat or Independent.

“Silicon Valley is one of the most important and dynamic communities on earth”, said Chang Kiraly. “We need leaders in Sacramento who ‘get it’ and who can bring people together to meet the important challenges we face. Our community is asking for common-sense leadership and change, and that’s what I represent.”

Virginia Chang Kiraly is the Republican State Assembly nominee for the California Legislature in Assembly District 21, which includes the communities of Atherton, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, Portola Valley, San Carlos, Woodside, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and Almaden Valley in San Jose. A Menlo Park resident, Virginia is a former Senior Director at the Nasdaq Stock Market and is a former board member of The Tech Museum of Innovation, Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA), Las Lomitas Education Foundation, and past PTA President of Las Lomitas Elementary School. She is currently on the board of the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo, Cultural Initiatives Silicon Valley, and the Las Lomitas PTA.
