VIRGINIA CHANG KIRALY FOR ASSEMBLY
EARNS ENDORSEMENT FROM REDWOOD CITY CITY COUNCILMEMBER JEFF IRA
MENLO PARK – Virginia Chang Kiraly, the Republican Assembly Candidate for District 21, is pleased to announce that Redwood City City Councilmember and former Mayor of Redwood City, Jeff Ira, has endorsed her campaign for State Assembly.
Mr. Ira has been on the Redwood City City Council for almost ten years and served as Mayor of Redwood City for two years. He is endorsing Chang Kiraly because she is a “bright, energetic and hard working woman who will be a breath of fresh air at the capital. She will bring enthusiasm and personality to a very tough job. Best of all she will bring a moderate point of view, which truly represents this District, and the ability to work in a non partisan way. She has proven all these traits in her community work. I am excited to endorse Virginia.”
“I am honored to receive Mr. Ira’s endorsement. He is known for his intelligent and commonsensical approach to policy-making. His civic virtues and principles are well-known and highly respected,” Chang Kiraly said. “Redwood City is a much better place because of his leadership and his ability to do what’s right for his constituents rather than have a personal agenda.”
Virginia Chang Kiraly is the Republican State Assembly Candidate for the California Legislature in Assembly District 21, which includes the communities of Atherton, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, Portola Valley, San Carlos, Woodside, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and Almaden Valley in San Jose.
